Kantojiu Temple, Dinajpur, Bangladesh

Kantojiu Temple (Bengali: কান্তজীউ মন্দির) at Kantanagar,^[1] is a late-medieval Hindu temple in Dinajpur, Bangladesh. Built by Maharaja Pran Nath, its construction started in 1702 CE and ended in 1752 CE,^[2] during the reign of his son Maharaja Ramnath.^[3] It boasts one of the greatest examples on Terracotta architecture in Bangladesh and once had nine spires, but all were destroyed in an earthquake that took place in 1897.

Twine Shiv Mandir at Teacher Student Center(TSC), Dhaka University, Dhaka, Bangladesh

These two moth or spire type temples are located near the abundant swimming pool of TSC, Dhaka University. They have beautiful stucco decoration on their walls. According to the architectural characteristics, these temples are similar to those common types of temples built from the 19th century and appear to have been inspired by the spires of the European churches initiated in the Gothic Cathedrals. This place is currently not permitted to entry.
