Chatteshwari Kali Mandir, Chittagong, Bangladesh

Located in the centre of Chittagong city in Bangladesh , this Hindu temple is dedicated to the Goddess Kali . It was built in the 18th Century. [1] The goddess of the temple is considered the guardian deity of the town Chittagong, according to Hindu belief. This temple was damaged by Pakistani soldiers during the Bangladesh liberation war .

Jagannath Temple, Pabna, Bangladesh

Jagannath Temple located in Chatmohar Upazila of Pabna District , Bangladesh is dedicated to the Hindu god Jagannath . Locally known as the Handial Mandir , the temple was built between 1300 to 1400 CE. The temple is famous for its terracotta sculptures , and has been described as one of the most beautiful Hindu temples in Northern Bangladesh. The temple is incurring damage by high salinity from the soil it is built on.

Boro Kali Bari, Mymensingh, Bangladesh

Boro Kali Bari is one of the oldest Hindu temples in the city of Mymensingh , Bangladesh . [ 1 ] The temple is dedicated to the goddess Kali .   The main festival is Kali Puja , which is celebrated every year. The temple is located 10 minute rickshaw pull from the center of the city. Hindu devotees can visit this temple during morning to night. However, the daily puja usually starts after sunset. Different types of sweets are available to purchase near the Kali temple. Other important Hindu temples in Mymensingh are the Durga Bari in the heart of the city, and the Shiva temple in Thana ghat.  

Puthia Temple Complex, Rajshahi, Bangladesh

Puthia Temple Complex consists of a cluster of notable old Hindu temples in Puthia Upazila , Rajshahi Division , Bangladesh . Located 23 km to the east of Rajshahi city, it has the largest number of historic temples in Bangladesh. [1] The temples were built by Hindu Zamindars Rajas of the Puthia Raj family who were noted philanthropists of Rajshahi. The temples have been built in terracotta in a variety of styles combining the typical Jor-bangla architecture with other influences. The Rajbari or Palace of the Raja of Puthia and the Dol Mancha is part of the complex. [2] The temples are laid out around a lake with a sprawling lawn.

Kal Bhairab Temple, Brahmanbaria, Bangladesh

Kal Bhairab Temple ( Bengali : কালভৈরব মন্দির ) is a Hindu temple , dedicated to the God Shiva , located in Medda in the Brahmanbaria district of Bangladesh . The temple is famed for the giant Shivalinga , a 28-feet tall Shiva statue assumed to be the largest in the world. Though the Hindu Lord Shiva , who is called the Kal Bhairab is the main attraction, Goddess Kali is also worshipped there. The statue of Kali is situated on the right side of the Kal Bhairab and the statue of the Goddess Saraswati is placed on the left. The temple is a major pilgrimage place for Shaivites in Bangladesh.    

Bhabanipur Shakti Pheeth, Bogra, Bangladesh

Bhabanipur ( Bengali : ভবানীপুর ) is a sacred site around Karatoyatat located about 28 kilometres (17 mi) from Sherpur Upazila of Bogra District , Rajshahi Division , Bangladesh . [ 1 ] [ 2 ] [ 3 ] It is one of the Shakti Peethas of the Indian subcontinent .

Adinath Temple, Cox's Bazar, Bangladesh

Adinath Temple , located on the summit of the Mainak Hill on Maheshkhali Island off the coast of Cox's Bazar , Bangladesh , is dedicated to the Hindu God, Shiva , who is worshipped as Adinath. The temple is famous for the annual fair held at the foot of the Mainak Hill in the month of Phalgun as per the Bengali calendar . [ 1 ] [ clarification needed ] The fair, which lasts 13 days, draws thousands of Hindus from across Bangladesh.

Chandranath Temple ( Bengali : চন্দ্রনাথ মন্দির ), located on top of the Chandranath hill, is a famous Shakti Peeth located near Sitakunda in Bangladesh where, as per Hindu sacred texts, the right arm of Goddess Sati fell. Sitakunda Chandranath Temple is a holy place of pilgrimage.

Kantojiu Temple, Dinajpur, Bangladesh

Kantojiu Temple ( Bengali : কান্তজীউ মন্দির ) at Kantanagar, [1] is a late-medieval Hindu temple in Dinajpur , Bangladesh . Built by Maharaja Pran Nath, its construction started in 1702 CE and ended in 1752 CE, [2] during the reign of his son Maharaja Ramnath. [3] It boasts one of the greatest examples on Terracotta architecture in Bangladesh and once had nine spires, but all were destroyed in an earthquake that took place in 1897.

Dhakeshwari National Temple ( Bengali : ঢাকেশ্বরী জাতীয় মন্দির Ðhakeshshori Jatio Mondir ) is a Hindu temple in Dhaka , Bangladesh . It is state-owned, giving it the distinction of being Bangladesh's 'National Temple'. The name "Dhakeshwari" (ঢাকেশ্বরী Ðhakeshshori ) means "Goddess of Dhaka". Since the destruction of Ramna Kali Mandir in 1971 by the Pakistan Army during the Bangladesh Liberation War , the Dhakeshwari Temple has assumed status as the most important Hindu place of worship in Bangladesh.
