Chachra Shiv Mandir, Jessore, Bangladesh

Chachra Shiv mandiris a 17th century built temple that is located at the Chachra of Jessore district. It is located exactly beside the Jessore-Benapol highway. This is a two stored Shiva temple that is having a single Rotno basically the second store] at the top. 

Chachra Shiv mandir is having stylish outer wall at the three sides out of four. Most of those are old fashioned but simple terracotta. It was left carelessly for many years. But recently the department of Bangladesh Archaeology renovated the temple and declared this as an archaeological asset of Bangladesh. From the inscription of the temple, its found that the Temple was build by someone named Monohor Ray during 1696.
